Hi! So I recently stumbled upon your blog and I'm in fact surprised that I didn't discover you guys earlier. Strangely enough I am from Michigan while my boyfriend lives in Saskatchewan while working and Manitoba while in school. It's beginning to be really tough, I can definitely tell the long-distance thing is taking it's toll. I was accepted into a university in Manitoba. Hopefully I'll be given a student visa and will be able to attend but if not and until I do move, do you guys have any suggestions? What are the hardest things you guys have to go through being in different countries?
The only thing I can think of thats difficult about being in two different countries is living in different time zones but luckily for us, we both live in the same one. Dealing with the border can also be a hassle but it’s really more of the physical distance apart that makes the relationship hard.
I hope that everything works out for you & that you’re able to get your student visa! Until then, try doing more creative things online with your boyfriend, for example, try playing games together on omgpop or set up a webcam date (:
